After a period of acquisition and growth, American Family Insurance's DEI leaders were tasked with consolidating their Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to create one centralized program while preserving the legacy of the subsidiaries’ BRGs. When consolidating 24 BRGs down to 10, the team needed to ensure that employees stayed engaged and secure in knowing that they still had a place in the initiative. They also needed to tactfully communicate with the leaders of 24 BRGs to explain the changes and simultaneously enroll them into the new processes.
